Yesterday, I came across an interesting website that might be of interest to some on this thread: Want to know the 50 top chemicals used on your favourite California-grown produce? Just go to this webpage and click on any of the produce items on this list and scroll down the page to read what's being used to grow them -- the chemical, pounds used in California in 2002, average pounds applied per acre, acres of each produce item, etc...
