And I pointed out that men ARE different from women. Thats diversity! You can't want all the good things that come with diversity without embracing the other things that come with it as well. My manners are wonderful. Nobody seems to care that when they call the extreme right wing of the republican party the "Christian Right" that they may be offending me and my obligation to others who share my feelings and opinions. It seems that concern of feelings only extends to certain groups, genders or races. <<I posted this on the offchance that some here might be interested>> While this may not be the best medium to convey opinions (since we can't see each others facial expressions) I felt you posted that to make me feel stupid. Prior to that post you said to Grainne "it's ok I'm sure he didn't try to be rude." Rude? You have to be kidding! I've watched you post for a number of years and believe me when I say you don't have the right to be judging rude behavior. You've been in some terrible battles only to then pull out and play the victim after you've taken a pound of flesh. I'm sorry but that just doesn't work. If you're a victim then you're a victim of your own making. I made a little wise crack to lighten the mood and now I've been called rude and offensive to an entire class of people. I'm not sure if anyone else would agree but I think this has been blown way out of proportion. That seems to happen a lot with certain people. I keep pretty much to myself and don't bother people if they don't bother me. My little wise crack was just that - it wasn't meant to hurt or offend anyone. But if you want to keep beating a dead horse I'll be more than happy to match you post for post in an intellectual debate. It's not what I want and your way out of your league if you plan to match wits with me, but if thats what you want....keep it comin. I would have settled for just a slapstick joke and gone on but some people have to pick at everything
