Can you give me one example of successful interrogation using torture? No, because these are done in secret, in dark rooms where almost nobody hears about what is happening. Torture has never been an effective tool for interrogation If some cretin knows of a plan in the works for another 9/11, I have no problem with people in dark rooms doing whatever they may with him to extract information. Call me what you will for believing that, but I believe most Americans now feel this way. After 9/11, and after Beslan, there is no step we can take which would be too drastic in stopping these people (for lack of a better word). Keep on living in your Pollyanna world if you want to....this is a free country after all, contrary to your claims.
