BS. Simple economics would say it can -- it's just a matter of what that amount is and if people are willing to pay it.

You do not understand the problem. At all.

If the massive tax increases (and they were massive by any measure) of the early 80s (and actually of the 70s before that) didn't solve the problem, it cannot be solved with tax increases.

The tax increases of 25 years ago were staggering. And here we are 25 years later, the fund is still broke.

You are talking about a subject you know zero about. It is in your interest to learn something about the subject.


BS. You have become an SS Casandra. We all have seen the numbers. It can be corrected by revamping the financial structure of the program. So move on to a new topic.......like why the GOP is doomed to failure!
