It was you who replied to my post that you didn't mean to be rude, and rather strangely, if I may say so. After that you suggested that you wouldn't hire anyone in your workplace who wouldn't take a little joke about intercourse. (Was that one of the good points you thought you made?) Perhaps you feel you made some trenchant observations about the public schools? Or that you managed to make the disagreement we have about posts of a sexual nature all about me.

This disagreement is not about me being a victim, and it's not about anything I did in the past. Our disagreement is about sexual comments made to other posters. It's very simple. You could have agreed with me that those kinds of comments aren't appropriate either on SI or in the workplace (which I must admit is what I thought you would do). But instead you told me you wouldn't hire a woman who wouldn't put up with them (just FYI, don't ever say that to the EEOC), AND you seem to think they are just fine here too.

It's amazing to me that you think you are "winning" something here. Truly. I'm utterly fascinated. You've insulted me, suggested "dogpiles" of your friends will teach me a lesson, and implied that I will be kleenexed into a chastened state. I really don't think this whole thing reflects too well on you. imo- of course
