Unbelievable! The Iraq "election" was a total fraud. The Sunnis sat it out, the Sistani-led Shia should have had 70%+ of the vote tally and yet somehow when all the counting was done, they only had 48%, while the Allawi quisling government exit polled in the low single digits and got 13% of the final vote. The result has been gridlock and the inability of the new Assembly to form a government. And Evan Thomas has the temerity to call this effective democracy? He's pathetic. What we have in Iraq is a complete fraud, a complete faked election for the benefit of simpletons (like some on this board) who are completely clueless about how far all this Potemkin Village nonsense provided by Disneyland George Bush really is from reality.
