ANWR is more than just a "tiny sliver of our oil needs," despite what you said. I brought up the SPR because that's an even tinier sliver, yet that didn't stop Clinton from drawing upon it to buy votes in the NE.

If you were drawing oil at full estimated capacity today, it would be less than 2% of our daily consumption. If we continue to have republican administrations, in 15 years, when these wells start producing oil, it will be way less than that.

Just showing what hypocrites liberals have proven themselves to be.

Or what a partisan hack resorts to when he is out of answers to defend his "owned" elected officials. Anyway, I'd rather have a president that "buys" (your cynical interpretation) people's votes by taking some action to stem the escalating price of oil than one who systematically passes laws that transfer money from his people to his crony rich friends.
