I get my hair cut at the Hair Cuttery, which charges the same for everyone. From just watching the process over the years, it doesn't seem to me that there's a difference in difficulty by gender. It depends on the style. I have my hair cut all one length just off my shoulders. You pretty much just cut straight around. Nothing's easier than than. With most men you have to get the layers right and trim around the years. And then there are the contortions for hiding the bald spots. <g>

Women often go to more expensive places for the ambience and they are more likely to get expensive treatments like coloring and perms. I don't think women nowadays need to pay more for a haircut if they don't want to.

I think women's clothes still cost more.
