Al, If you were drawing oil at full estimated capacity today, it would be less than 2% of our daily consumption. That's a lot more than the oil Clinton released from the SPR, a move that in the long term made us more dependent on foreign oil. At least drilling in ANWR will make us less dependent on foreign oil. Sure, we might trample on a few acres of caribou property, but we sure love our SUVs, don't we? Tenchusatsu
