Rude and unnecessarily abrasive.

That runs counter to what the constitution prescribes.

Clearly no. The constitution doesn't even comptemplate gay marriage, let alone forbid states to outlaw it.


The Constitution states that everyone must be treated equally.

Its why GOP lawyers have told the right that the gay marriage constitutional amendment as proposed will be declared unconstitutional.

Constitutional amendments are by definition constitutional. They are part of the constitution. They can't be declared unconstitutional.


That's why I will be surprised if it becomes an amendment.
