Mr. Short said, "This is the story of a holocaust. Hundreds of thousands were executed by the Communist Khmer Rouge and the rest died of malnutrition, disease and overwork in a nationwide Cambodian gulag that Short described as "the first modern slave state." The man responsible was virtually unknown even to Cambodians. I have to wonder just how much of that tragedy Kerry is responsible for. About 7 weeks ago, during his last live TV interview with Tim Russert, Kerry stated he delivered guns to the Khmer Rouge on the coast of Cambodia in 1968. At the same time, the rest of us GIs were on the other side of Cambodia fighting the communist forces including Khmer Rouge. Kerry is a real team player...his problem is he forgets which team he is on.
