Let me get this straight - Unless the drug companies transfer manufacturing technology, Brazil is going declare the patent invalid - of course that still doesn't get Brazil the knowledge of how to manufacture the drug.

Unless they can then get the drug from India or South Africa, what are they going to do ?

I believe some of the Indian and/or South African production is part of a licsencing deal where they are restricted in where they can sell.

Might be unfortunate if that lab had a small fire....
