I filled out a total of seven brackets this year, the one here, one on Yahoo, and five on ESPN. I tried to mix it up a bit, but I still had a lot of patterns.
- I have all four #1s making the Sweet Sixteen, and Illinois and UNC making the Elite Eight, in every bracket.
- I never had Washington winning the Albuquerque Regional.
- I never had the Albuquerque Regional winner beating the Chicago Regional winner in the semifinals.
- First round upsets I picked on a majority of the brackets: UAB, NC State, Pittsburgh (picked in 6 brackets each), Iowa State (5), UW-Milwaukee, St. Mary's, UCLA, New Mexico, NC State, UTEP, and Iowa (4 each).
- I never picked Mississippi State in their 8/9 game with Stanford. |
