I had a terrible bout for 10 days. Just before I was ready to blow my head off the doctor put me on Prednisone for 3 days. It stopped the cycle. I took it twice a day for 3 days only. I have some on hand for the next severe bout. I would love to know the reason why I am one that gets these horrible headaches while others never will. They seem to run in my family and only a brother and I get them out of 6 children.
