Brian,

Here in Oregon, we voted in two initiatives to have the right to die with dignity. And we very much resent the US A.G. attempting to overturn the will of the people.

So, I'm probably on the opposite side of the fence from you on the Schiavo situation. I find that it is beyond bizarre that nutcases argue to keep this woman intubated and alive in her tragic vegetative state.

The mistake made was that she didn't establish a living trust defining the degree of medical intervention she preferred after all hope of return to a normal life faded away.
