NEWS NEWS NEWS!!!! Phase one completed at Beniah Lake Sanfred Resources Ltd SND Shares issued 5591288 1997-09-02 close $0.23 Wednesday Sep 3 1997 The phase one diamond exploration project on the company's Beniah Lake diamond property, northwest of Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, has been completed. 117 till samples have been collected and at present are being analysed for kimberlite indicator mineral content and visible gold content. A portion of each sample has been set aside for geochemical analysis if required. Four targets have been evaluated, two of which are considered first priority. Targets T-1 and T-2 have been picked as high priority kimberlite targets based on Mag/EM anomalies. These anomalies show up as magnetic highs. T-1 is of particular interest as it consists of a cluster of six circular anomalies all located under a lake similar in dimension to the underlying cluster. This target shows both a favourable magnetic anomaly and topographic association. T-2 is a circular magnetic high and is located in a low lying area with little to no bedrock outcrop. Sanfred's Beniah Lake diamond property is located adjacent to Winspear Resources Ltd Camsell Lake/Snap Lake property. The till sample results will be reported as they are received and compiled.
