Bill, in general I agree (gasp!) the only difference for me is that with all the recent upheaval, personnel and psychology/strategy, I can't really feel "certain" about anything Jobs might do.

Went to the San Diego Mac User Group meeting last night. I'm not a member, just wanted to see the BeOS demo. As it turns out there were a couple of Apple Field Sales reps visiting QualComm (on a sales call) where the meetings are held. These brave souls actually got up at the meeting and listened to questions (I understand they probably didn't even know answers at this point) responding when they could and assuring us that our opinions count and will passed up the line. All I can really say is they seemed to be holding up pretty well.

As a side note, anybody know if Power's license to ship the BeOS was considered to be a "core asset?" Interesting situation for Jean-Louis, n'est-ce pas?

Dirk
