The simple facts.

Mr. Latif posted a quote of Ms Rice that was reported in news articles with direct quotes bounding the statement. The customary manner of reporting a direct quote.

malibuca (liar, idiot or both, let the reader decide) posted as a direct quote of Ms Rice a statement that was reported sans direct quotes. the customary manner suggesting an editorial restatement of what was said.

malibuca (liar, idiot or both, let the reader decide) represented that his alternative statement was the real statement and proffered it showed Mr. Latif was dishonest.
I would proffer the suggestion the difference in statements is somehow dishonest a good indication of idiot thinking.

Now malibuca (liar, idiot or both, let the reader decide) suggests. that having read all he will admit he is wrong only if others provide proof he is wrong.

Well I conclude even if an apology is now provided, we have a proven idiot.

Does this prove it takes an idiot to be more proficient at google than I am. Just one more silly thought that matters little.

And for any interested, A complete list of Ms Rices formal remarks and interviews is presented at this link.
