Not for me. They are too expensive. Think about this, rock is the base for all construction (or its overburden). Those that are situated nicely in a market will only do better as their competition closes down or moves further away. Higher fuel costs actually are a plus for us in this regard. Inventory does not go bad...in a way it is like oil, once you buy the land, you remove what you paid for for many years, and then you end up with huge lakes...to develop home sites around which again are located close to the cities...they are yet to really kick in as much money as they can or will. Safe conservative investments.
