This is the most corrupt admin ever. Look at the newest scandals (ok, those finally seeing the light of day) involving that bastion of slime Tom Delay. HAL is still stealing, Bechtel is stealing but never gets blamed, BigPhrma is stealing...Enron is beginning to look like an absolute piker in comparison to these criminals.
Meanwhile, Martha gets her 5 months over insider trading which is rampant anyway while HAL's latest slime is for $100 million in overcharges. Bechtel, meanwhile, gets paid to fix a water plant, doesn't do it, charges for it, gets paid...meanwhile the Army Corps of Engineers does the job and the US Taxpayer shells out for it...TWICE.
The Baghdad embassy (AKA permanent occupation government) is slated to cost $590 million and house 3,000 people in a concrete bunkers. How many of those 3,000 people will be slated to handle oil company business?
It's utter nonsense as the building will actually end up costing over $1 billion and could end up being the most expensive building ever constructed...all paid for by the reduction of headstart, the attempted killing of Medicare, the reduction in Veterans Benefits, etc.
Anyone who is still a Republican and still a supporter of Bush at this point is beyond redemption IMO. |
