Really, really sad article. The problem is much worse than I thought. Everywhere I go with my dogs, I see such sweet greyhounds that have been adopted. But these are former racing greyhounds. I had no idea at all that so many puppies were being murdered, without even the chance of someone adopting them. I think greyhound racing is gradually dying out as more people become aware of animal rights--I know of one track that is closing. I wish more would.
