re: allegations

Key word.

The real issue is if you believe the husband (and Terry's friends) when they say that she said she would want to live in this situation. 15 years later. All the courts have sided with the husband, are they in error?

The "right to life" folks have now taken it up. They are demonstarting in front of the hospice. The Republicans are making it a federal issue in Congress.

The whole thing makes me want to vomit. It's like an Altman parody film of American life. It's a clear demonstration of how callous we are as a people, how we lack any elegance, humility or respect for each other.

It's the ultimate "reality show", and the winner gets to decide if this unfortuate woman lives or dies. It's a clear demonstration that we have lost all sense of humanity, and traded it in for politics.

Amy, Ted, Ten, all you folks are enjoying the spectacle. Reminisent of the Romans with their gladiators. You ought to be ashamed.

John
