Undisclosed- Kodak closing Rochester plant Thu, Mar 17, 2005 LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Eastman Kodak Co. said on Wednesday it would close a Rochester, New York facility that produces raw photographic paper base, leading to job cuts and restructuring charges of about $50 million. Kodak said the charges included $3 million in employee severance costs, but it did not say how many jobs would be lost. A spokesman for the company was not immediately available to comment on any job cuts. Kodak also said it would record $2 million in "other operational charges." The company said the closure should be completed by May 18 and said in future it would get its supply of raw paper base from outside suppliers. in.news.yahoo.com
