Ha Noi (VNA) - No new bird flu outbreaks have been reported by 25 of the 35 infected provinces and cities nationwide for at least 21 days, said Deputy Director of the Veterinary Department Dau Ngoc Hao on Mar. 18.
The avian flu free localities are Ninh Binh, Ha Nam, Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, Yen Bai, Thai Binh, Ha Noi, Ha Giang, and Bac Ninh in the north, Lam Dong, Quang Binh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, and Quang Nam in the central, and Ninh Thuan, Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, Tien Giang, Tay Ninh, Binh Duong, Kien Giang, Ca Mau, Soc Trang, Binh Phuoc, and Long An in the south.
There was no new bird flu outbreak reported by any province or citiy across the country on Mar. 17. Provinces and cities have been tightening the supervision of poultry transport, trade and slaughter.-Enditem
