What is obvious is that the Royal Family ought to do real quick is get on thr phone to Slick and learn how to do grief. I mean the Royals can do pomp but nobody can work a funeral like Slick Willie since The Duke in Hukleberry Finn. The Royals are so far behind the power curve that they might even lose what ever prerogatives they have been able through public relations manipulations to preserve. The most damming sight I can imagine is a line of brave veterans, some of whome may have given body parts for Queen and country, standing at attention for a man dressed up like a comic figure from Duck Soup because he is called the Prince of Wales.

To be intentionally outrageous to make a point: The head line should be, 'Death of a clothes horse' What have any of these people done, apart from the Queen Mum who behaved admirably during the war, in their own right?

God save the Popporazzi! I don't want this sort of people to have their way with the populace, many of whom have been known to vote, detached from the truth of their sordid lives. Tom Cruise and the Kennedys included.

Now is the time,I know, to say something like 'IMHO' but, dammit, I'm too Irish and I have just had a belly full of the pap coming out SKY News here in Germany.

So take your best shot.

Greg
