" In short, the whole world knows that Israel isn't going to just off and nuke some other country without provocation. Nobody is quite sure of this about Iran. "..

Indeed, they have not used them directly to date, but they have been a deterrent for it to carry on policy that may be detrimental to its neighbour's well being, others don't have that privilege in the region.

" Israel has suffered repeated attempts to destroy it. Iran hasn't ",...

No, that eight year war with Iraq, backed by the US, must be my over active imagination playing tricks on me again.

" Rajsanjani has declared that Iran should nuke Israel just as soon as Iran gets the bomb, because Israel would be destroyed, and Iran could survive the retaliation. "..

Politics as usual.Bush sounds more like him every day.

You remember the bluster from China towards Taiwan?

How about the bluster from India and Pak?

How about North and South Korea?

Bottom line...Iran should not have nukes , and neither should any country in this explosive and important region of the world.

M-A-D has worked so far because of the retaliatory threat, but Iran knows well that it would not survive an all out first strike, and Israel is known to strike first if it feels threatened , rightfully or not.
