For malaria, one of the most effective medicine recommended by WHO is a TCM medicine (Qing Gao Su, Artemisia annua anamed (A3)) due to a lot of cases have had resistance for Quinine. Although it has been and will continue to be resisted by big drug companies, alternative medicines and treatment is one of the most effective ways to curb the sky-high medical cost in the US.
