What you wrote:

if only you will fine me ONE quote dating from before March 2003 from anyone on the left saying that Rumsfeld should be listening to those who said we needed 500,000 troops to invade Iraq.

What I wrote in response:

I have no idea who was allegedly making the 500k troop claim in the first place, and it would be a difficult exercise to find people who didn't think we should start a war arguing for doing it with a lot of troops.

Once again, I have no idea where you got that particular straw man from in the first place. The uniformed military leadership wanted more troops, that's pretty well documented. Couldn't have hurt, might have helped. Your "intellectually honest" warped take on that is, well, typical. Your stirring little lectures on "intellectual honesty" are about as credible as your lectures on "evidence". I have no idea who "those" are supposed to be, maybe you hold in your hand an envelope with 10 of "those" names or something.
