I saw Clapton once in the 70's. He came out on stage and sat down with a fifth of Jack Black on the floor next to him. He then proceeded to start playing and would take a big chug after each song. He got pretty loose and started forgetting the words to his songs, but he could still play damn good. Best I know, he cleaned up his act after his kid fell out their penthouse window. * * *
