John, OFF TOPIC Re: enjoying some of the worst professional baseball ever played Did you ever hang out in the street behind the left field bleachers during batting practice? Kiner and Sauer loved to put 'em over that fence for the kids there. Didn't know you were from Chicago. I was actually a northside guy who was a Sox fan then (they at least had a shot). Until they won the pennant in '59, they were always in the race to the end - fighting it out with the Yankees and Paul's Indians. I never liked going to Comisky though. Loved Wrigley. I was a real fan then - but no longer. Baseball lost me when it became a business and everybody got greedy. Barry
