My point is that getting the mullahs to change course is not easy thanks to historic reasons. But it is, I believe, possible provided that the US changes its FP towards Iran.

and my point is that Iran's leadership advocates in public the destruction of another nation and people. Since when do we negotiate with despots bent on mass murder and the destruction of another country? How will a change in FP smooth relations and build trust with a rogue nation that is engaged in sponsoring and fomenting terrorism abroad?
