One said her husband's family had just gone through the same thing with an aunt, but they didn't ask her to write legislation. It should remain a private family issue. I think the Repubs have hit on an issue that even many of their usual supporters will oppose. Unlike abortion this is an issue that EVERY person could face, regardless of gender or age.
