Winter solstice ceremonies are found in every culture- and in fact the tree is a pagan symbol appropriated by the Christians. So rather than describing the situation as pagans enjoying "Christmas", Christians have actually been enjoying the Pagan celebration of the winter solstice for about 2000 years. Perhaps it's time to Take back the Solstice!
