When I was in high school my mom and I moved into a place in LA just a few blocks from one of the largest Hara Krishna temples in the U.S. I don't see them much anymore. When they approached my friend and me at the airport (while in the Navy) they said "We have a free gift for you!" I took the Bhagavad Gita hard-cover edition and kept walking. THEN, they wanted a "donation". I said "But, you said it was a free gift." I kept it. I don't see them anymore. It was a fad, more or less.
