Easter is always on a Sunday. That explains itself.

The benefit of Christ being Christmas off was never the implied direction.

The direction of the discussion is this - As a nation that has religious freedoms people are allowed to take those Holidays off with no questions asked.

But when you have a small percentage of the population (and it happens every year) that wants to make any display of primarily Christianity a rights issue that irritates me because I think its petty. So, if people want to get petty then my response is - Ok.....lets jump in the mud! You say you're not Christian and want no public display on public land - fine. But when December 25th rolls around I want your butt clocked in at the shop. You want to antagonize me for your 15 minutes of fame? Fine. I'm your employer and I own your butt....so you bright and early on December 25th. I'm so sincere about this that I'd even get up and go check on people to make sure they were working.

Now I'd rather not do that but if people want to be petty.....lets get petty
