Just followed somebody's bio, and tripped over this, haven't seen it for near half a century ... do you recall any Newbolt, Stephen? - Message 21152744
There was that one, Kipling's If, and Recessional, Henley's Invictus
If, drunk with sight of power we loose in the fell clutch of circumstance, the sand of the desert is sodden red, and walk with kings, nor lose the common touch, the gatling's jammed and the colonel's dead, that there's some corner of a foreign field, you'll be a man, my son! a dust that England bore, shaped, made aware.
... doesn't rhyme the same any more .... yes, fnx.to, there i made the same mistake and followed dy.to much more, due to past history, having gotten some Dynatec when it was spun off from Westaim [and gotten the Westaim when it was spun off Sherritt] ... made a few bucks on dy early on, and got attached ... same with Aur, when they hit at Louvicourt around '93 i netted a four-bagger or so, and convinced a Midland Doherty broker of its merits too, he made money and did me favours later on ... so then Aur was my copper stock, following imn and fm and ivn was mostly for comparative purposes [though i have held a bit of all of them at different times]
Trouble with fnx is that i don't do momo, have a hard time buying when they're on a run ... like to sneak up, catch them when they're sleeping .... and then wait, and wait, and wait - yeah that approach has got its disadvantages too
bqe.v - interesting, think i looked at this last year after seeing something in the paper ... will take another look ... cheers
