The only real concern the Democrats have is that they know-once the American worker REALIZES that he can now invest the funds that are being stolen, and still own them years later-that he will begin electing a variety of Congressmen until he gets a combination that will abolish the Great Fraud for good. And the ending of Social Security locks the Democrat party in the dustbin of history forever. That glorious day is coming and cannot be stopped... Perhaps you are correct. Perhaps Democrats are just trying desperately to cling to power. I hope you are right about the younger workers realizing that they are getting ripped off, and supporting people who agree to mitigate the harm. Younger workers need the opportunity to save some of their taxes.
