Bob,
I agree with you the the ETF's can be a good way to go. I have always liked the shiny stuff since I was a kid. I was just not as smart as you to stick with it.

I see some big corrections in the future with how people utilize credit, maybe interest rates will rise, gold may go up, but I do not see a gloom and doom scenario where we all need gold and silver to buy or trade for bread and milk.

I see the physical as a safer way to play the potential rise in gold than holding mining or exploration shares.

Gold money is good I guess and Claude has pointed out their pluses. No easy answers just start by sending me a few of those kilo roosters or whatever they were. I can use them in a back pack for physical training. <g>
