It does matter. Consider, no new refineries have been built in the US since 1970. There are many reasons for that, environmental regulations are only part. Siting, access to water and other infrastructural needs means that they are a huge investment. So that pretty much means that the only ones to build a refinery are the current oil companies, and they don't seem motivated for some reason.


CJ, you are talking facts. These guys don't play with facts; they make it up as they go along. That way, they can make many things fit many different circumstances. They want the ANWR.....its not just about oil but rather its about thwarting the environmentalists, one of their arch enemies. The fight for the ANWR is not over. And I doubt it will be won on facts. I can't wait to take them on.
