I've been with them for four years now and can confirm that they are real smooth. What you read is simply to prevent as much as possible a type of fraud that has been very common in gold currencies: ponzi schemes. That is in essence why they have the CAP-verified status and why they might ask for notarized copy of your papers if they suspect you are involved in something that reseemble a ponzi.
