I haven't lived in the state for 21 years, so I get information from long distance on crap like Pitino's leave. What I heard was that he knocked up a UK cheerleader who was his girlfriend while he coached there, and beyond, and it was about to be announced publicly. But, since it had nothing much to do with basketball, I just laughed and waited for the next in a perpetual string of slurs from the UK fans. Silly bunch of folks down there, although I will say that the UL group of fans is getting almost as bad. ;)

Got a chance to watch the Cards alot on ESPN this year. When they are playing like they did with GT, not much will stop them I don't think. My guess is it would take a comparable performance from just about any of the teams left to beat UL when they are hitting on all cylinders. We'll see, I guess. Or, maybe I should say, you'll see, I guess...since CBS's lame coverage wants me to watch crap like Duke or Vermont or some other silliness instead of the real action. :)
