"Dean has said clearly and accurately that we never should have gotten involved but that after we did we must get out reasonably quickly and with the least amount of U.S. damage, leaving the Iraqis to solve their own (partially U.S. now-contributed to) problems. If that's still his position then I would agree. "

Dean is wrong and Powel is correct-"you broke it, you bought it." Thankfully Bush is in for the long haul.
