The big news here is that they are moving pretty quickly on getting these to market. Taken alone, these receivers probably won't amount to many subs; but if they are really able to get competing brands out before XMAS, it could begin to generate significant numbers of subscribers, THIS year. I think it is great news -- but just one more example of XM's excellent execution. I don't really know of anyone who expected this kind of product announcement only 2 months after the initial announcement of C&P.
