Ted, Explain to me, Mr. Korea, why Korea rolled over and played dead every time it was invaded?

Let's play a game, Ted, called "leading questions."

As soon as you explain to me why Africans "rolled over and played dead" every time more of their people were enslaved, or why Native Americans "rolled over and played dead" every time the "evil white man" grabbed more of their land,

I don't know about Africans, but NA fought pretty hard against the white man. Ultimately, it was the diseases found among Europeans that did them in.

I'll explain why Koreans "rolled over and played dead" every time other Asian powers stomped through the peninsula.

Isn't that what I asked? I mentioned France or Poland as possible analogies. Which is more apt? The French are mostly wusses but the Poles have the bad luck of being a relatively flat country sandwiched in between some major powers on the European continent. However, Korea is made up of mts.......a terrain that makes it difficult for an occupying power to effectively rule......see Switzerland.

Work with me here. As a liberal, I feel your pain but I now want to understand the cause of that pain.

Then we'll come to some sort of agreement over the absurdity of "reparations."

I kind of see that as a separate isssue that will only confuse the subject at hand.....don't you?
