I think Rice is in over her head. She was a yes woman for Bush all through the 9/11 hearings and in her tenure within his administration. Most probably, as I would guess, she is seen as just another instrument of Bush's inside circle and rather than a person in her own right. I wish that I had more confidence in her as she is going around the world with an agenda... I had wondered just how much she was respected and what her presence has for future implications for our foreign policy. You answered some of that concern..
