No, they know about junk food and how about 2/3rd of Americans are obese. And they also know that some 45 million Americans have no health insurance. And also that those who lost jobs also lost their health insurance and when they got jobs again, often it was for half the salary and with no health insurance. They can see the writing on the wall for middle-class Americans. Sadly, many middle-class Americans themselves can't see it.
