Yes and the vast majority of ANWR will still be pristine (or at least pretty much as pristine as it is now, I'm not sure any large area is 100% pristine anymore) if the drilling is give the ok. But he was the only example I could think of this type of thing, where if a region, area, whatever is given one name (ANWR, Saudi Arabia), than it is all "sullied" if anything unwanted is in any part of it.
