well thats a pretty subjective statement. why are we the only economy(especially at this stage of unprecedented imbalances)? and most importantly how will we be able to sustain it. this is the meat of the argument that needs to be answered.
why is china cornered into a position that it is allowing us to do that? why cant it give us a dose of montezuma by selling some of those treasuries.

the rest of your argument is just conjecture.
