Kirk and/or Dipy;
If BB made his QQQ call in his newsletter, did it affect his Hulbert rating? I suspect not considering his subsequent high Hulbert rating. BB had an unremarkable Hulbert rating until the tech crash. Then BB made the kind of call most analysts linked with a brokerage firm would not make: consider going to cash albeit with plenty of caveats(maybe 60/40 cash, look at your taxes first). And it was early as the market continued to rise substantially. Then came his bad QQQ call. Then his buy call in March,2003, which boosted his performance record substantially. Thus, apparently two calls have given him a top 5 Hulbert risk-adjusted rating; I doubt he would have this rating if the QQQ call was calculated by Hulbert. Comments?
