Wow, what a story! It must be a little nerve wracking to have a son-in-law who can put them between the eyes. Thanks for sharing.

My only experience with an AR15: we used one to collect a lot of foliage from the top of special trees in our tree improvement program. We later grafted this foliage on to the base of other trees, and when it grew sufficiently it would produce cones which had the seed of the hopefully superior parent tree. It passed the genes down to seedlings we produced with those cones, and we were able to grow a new crop of trees much faster.

The young woman who was in charge of this activity walked into a sporting good store and ordered an ungodly amount of .223 ammo. She was only 5'2" tall, so all the sporting goods guy could say was "What are you going to do, little lady, start a war?"
